We are a fast-growing company in the commercial cleaning & real estate services space. We value organization, responsibility, and excellent communication. As our team expands, we are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping & HR Coordinator to join our office.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid position combining bookkeeping and human resources support. The ideal person will be comfortable with numbers, organization, and administrative tasks, while also being able to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeping (60%)

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile invoices and payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records in FreshBooks (or similar accounting software)
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Track contractor payments, filed forms, and billing discrepancies
  • Prepare basic financial reports and monthly summaries

Human Resources (40%)

  • Collect and organize employee paperwork (W-4, I-9, IDs, onboarding docs)
  • Maintain digital employee files
  • Help coordinate interviews and onboarding
  • Process background checks and verifications
  • Manage time-off requests and employee communication
  • Assist with compliance and HR updates
  • Communicate with employees in both English and Spanish

What We’re Looking For

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
  • Experience with HR tasks, onboarding, or office administration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail — zero tolerance for sloppy work
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable learning new systems (FreshBooks, Gusto, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience in service-based businesses (cleaning, construction, maintenance)
  • Experience managing contractors or field staff
  • Knowledge of payroll systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,488.84 - $57,190.87 per year
