Bookkeeping Specialist | LIV Recovery Sober Living

LIV Recovery Sober Living is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to maintain accurate financial records, support reporting, and strengthen financial stewardship in a mission-driven, person-centered organization. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Your expertise will help us streamline our financial processes, provide clear financial insights, and support our organizational growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
  • Record deposits, expenses, journal entries, and routine accounting activity.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and internal financial records.
  • Assist with budgets, monthly reports, and audit preparation.
  • Track grant-related expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial organization.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Experience with reconciliations, reporting, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Nonprofit or grant tracking experience is a plus.
