Boom loader

Key Responsibilities

• Operate boom loader equipment safely and efficiently as per site requirements.
• Load, unload, lift, transport, and place construction materials and equipment.
• Perform daily inspection of the boom loader before operation.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safe handling of machinery.
• Follow lifting plans, operator guidelines, and site safety instructions.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, signalmen, and lifting teams during operations.
• Ensure the machine is operated within safe load limits and manufacturer specifications.
• Report equipment defects, breakdowns, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain fuel, oil, hydraulic levels, and basic machine upkeep.
• Ensure safe movement of materials without damage to personnel, property, or equipment.
• Comply with UAE HSE regulations, company safety policies, and site procedures.
• Assist in general site logistics and material handling activities when required.
• Maintain operational records, checklists, and daily activity logs.
• Avoid unauthorized use or unsafe operation of equipment.
• Ensure work area remains clean and free from operational hazards.

Accountability

The Boom Loader / Operator is accountable for:

• Safe and proper operation of assigned machinery.
• Preventing accidents, injuries, and equipment damage.
• Compliance with lifting and operational safety standards.
• Timely completion of assigned loading and material handling activities.
• Proper daily inspection and reporting of machine condition.
• Adherence to company rules, site regulations, and UAE labour and safety requirements.

Role Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating boom loaders or similar heavy equipment in construction projects.
• UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.

Certification / License

• Valid UAE heavy equipment operator license/certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and equipment operation practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of construction site operations.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and lifting procedures.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
