Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or skincare treatments to clients.
• Manage your own client bookings using salon management software
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized booth or spa room in accordance with health and sanitation standards.
• Promote retail products through upselling techniques and retail math strategies to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products.
• Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering client inquiries.
• Stay current on industry trends
• Assist in mentoring fellow beauty professionals when needed and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Ensure all services comply with state cosmetology or
• esthetician licensing requirements and store policies.

Experience

• Proven experience in beauty services such as esthetics, hairstyling, makeup application, nail care or related fields.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like for scheduling and client management.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon or spa setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients on service options and retail products.
• Ability to perform retail sales effectively through upselling techniques and understanding retail math principles.
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude is essential.
