The Bouncer/Door Person ensures a secure, welcoming, and professional environment for all patrons. This role is responsible for managing guest entry, verifying identification, and maintaining safety protocols while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with the venue’s upscale standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and manage entry flow.
• Verify age and identification in compliance with local laws and venue policies.
• Monitor guest behavior and respond to safety concerns discreetly and professionally.
• Collaborate with management and staff to maintain a safe atmosphere.
• Enforce venue policies regarding capacity, conduct, and restricted items.
• Assist in emergency situations and coordinate with local authorities when necessary.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Discretion and tact when handling sensitive situations.
• Familiarity with ID verification tools and techniques.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in hospitality, security, or customer service preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-volume bar, lounge, or nightlife venue.

Work Schedule:

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak service times.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
