This role involves maintaining a welcoming yet secure environment by monitoring entry points, managing crowd control, and enforcing venue policies. Duties

• Check identification and verify age to ensure compliance with legal requirements for entry
• Monitor guest behavior and enforce venue policies to prevent disturbances or unsafe conduct
• Conduct thorough security screenings, including bag checks and visual inspections, to prevent prohibited items from entering
• Manage crowd flow at entrances, exits, and within the venue to promote safety and orderliness
• Respond swiftly to incidents or conflicts using conflict management skills, de-escalating situations when necessary
• Collaborate with security team members to conduct surveillance via CCTV systems and patrol designated areas regularly
• Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if needed, and coordinate with emergency responders as required

Skills

• Strong understanding of security protocols and conflict management techniques
• Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification preferred
• Background in law enforcement, military, or security services is advantageous
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling difficult situations professionally
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and emergency personnel
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage within the venue

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
