Duties

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data integrity
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper debits & credits are recorded for all transactions
• Support payroll processing and tax-related activities
• Generate detailed financial reports, including budgeting analysis and account analysis

Qualifications

• Proven experience with accounting software.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
• Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, account analysis, and bank reconciliation procedures.
• Ability to perform precise account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Prior experience in retail helpful
• Strong communication skills for financial report writing and client interactions when needed
