Boutique Sales Associate/Junior Designer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate/Junior Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our home furnishg store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead designer w client projects.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
• Operate the Shopify system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by regularly restocking shelves and displays.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions.
• Sell products effectively by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Interior Design Degree
• Canva, AutoCAD, Google Docs proficient
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Previous experience in interior design and retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
