Box truck delivery assistant and driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled delivery assia to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks. This role involves delivering goods efficiently while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence in service. Pay $150 MON-SAT

Duties

• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as required.
• Will assist driver in transporting cargo
• Pay Weekly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery industry or in a similar delivery driver role.
• Experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus, including experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Knowledge of route driving principles and logistics management is beneficial.
