Box Truck Driver

Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering goods efficiently and safely to our valued customers. As a key player in our delivery network, you'll be responsible for transporting products using a box truck, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members alike.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
• Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal safety and functionality
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for accountability
• Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments as needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Familiarity with route driving, heavy lifting, and manual transmission operation
• Prior warehouse experience involving load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or forklifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items regularly during loading/unloading processes
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating a box truck; CDL license is a plus but not required
