Box Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience operating box trucks, handling heavy loads, and navigating route driving schedules. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and route driving assignments
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory and organizing stock
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure safe transportation of goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck interior and exterior

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with box trucks or commercial driving roles
• Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and moving inventory is advantageous
• Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license required, with a clean driving record
• Experience in route driving and load & unload procedures is beneficial
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,036.69 - $1,248.49 per week
