Box Truck Driver/ helper

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck for local route deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
• Assist with route planning to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across designated areas
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during delivery interactions
• Verify shipment accuracy and complete delivery documentation accurately
• Help with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving goods, and preparing shipments for dispatch
• Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work regularly throughout the shift
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools for efficient deliveries
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
