Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Box Truck Driver (non-CDL) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver and pick up goods, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help us deliver exceptional service every day.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
• Drive route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving items, heavy lifting, and organizing inventory when not on the road
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation accurately
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of the truck
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate routes and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving in a box truck or similar vehicle
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual labor including moving and heavy lifting tasks
• Warehouse experience including familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory handling is a plus
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
