Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to meet the demands of our logistics operations. The position involves operating box trucks and other commercial vehicles, with an emphasis on route driving and load management.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
• Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and clients
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries professionally, and communicates effectively.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during loading, unloading, or driving activities

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
• Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is desirable
• Prior experience in load & unload operations and warehouse environments is advantageous
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times
• Must obtain and be able to pass a DOT Physical

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
