We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to transport goods, including hazardous materials, to various locations. The ideal candidate is expected to possess a valid CDL Class A or B license with a Hazmat endorsement, demonstrating a commitment to safe vehicle operation and adherence to all transportation regulations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Safely operate a box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and manifests.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members using the English language.
- Maintain a good driving record, demonstrating responsible driving behavior.
- Handle cargo with care, demonstrating fine motor skills during loading and unloading.
- Assist with warehouse duties when time allows.
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat endorsement.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- General knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
