Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods across designated routes in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to meet delivery deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and other required documentation
• Assist with warehouse activities when needed, including inventory management and moving goods within storage facilities

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, specifically with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle size
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and route driving in urban environments
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo safely
• Warehouse experience including use of pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation

Pay: $2,400.00 - $3,900.00 per week
