Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver with Liftgate experience to join our dynamic delivery team near IAH Airport, off FM 1960. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to our valued customers. As a key player in our transportation network, you will operate a box truck equipped with a liftgate, providing exceptional customer service while managing the safe handling and delivery of goods. Duties

• Safely operate a box truck, utilizing route driving skills to deliver goods efficiently across designated areas locally in Houston, Texas.
• Load and unload cargo using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items
• Use liftgate to facilitate the loading and unloading process, maintaining safety protocols at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Follow planned delivery routes accurately, adjusting as necessary for traffic or other unforeseen circumstances
• Complete all required delivery documentation, logs, and reports promptly and accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after shifts

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE..... Valid Medical DOT Card and a Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; and 2-3 years of verifiable pickup/delivery experience driving box trucks with liftgate experience preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience, especially with route driving in urban or suburban settings around Houston, Texas
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely during loading/unloading processes
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with pallet jacks is a plus
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo handling
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
