We are looking for a Brake Press Operator.
EMI, an LSI Industries company, is trusted by North America’s leading grocery and retail brands to create innovative and eye-catching display fixtures and millwork. For more than 30 years, EMI has been designing and manufacturing its display fixtures across North America.
Summary:
Operate Press Brakes and monitor parts and machine to assure that the parts are being produced to the specifications described when a set/up person assigned the task, as well as to monitor the function of the machine to be sure it functions as shown.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Observe all safety rules keeping all body parts out of any pinch points

Notifying the lead or set/up person of any changes observed while operating the press.

Inspect parts as shown and alert lead or set/up person if anything changes.

Keep track of the quantity of parts ran and the length of time on the work order as well as noting any mistakes (scrap).
