Branch Manager – Forklift & Material Handling Dealership

Position Summary
The Branch Manager is fully accountable for the operational, financial, and cultural success of the branch. This role leads by example, embeds Pacific’s culture into daily operations, develops staff, ensures safety and compliance, drives technician productivity, and delivers revenue and profitability results. The Branch Manager is responsible for executing company policies, achieving performance goals, and building a high-performing, accountable team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Live, model, and actively spread the company’s culture, vision, mission, and values
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to all branch staff
- Set clear performance expectations and hold individuals accountable
- Resolve employee and customer disputes effectively within 48 hours
People Development
- Develop branch staff through structured coaching, training, and performance reviews
- Arrange and track training and development for all roles
- Ensure technicians achieve and maintain Hyundai certification (ICE, Electric, and Big Truck)
Operations Management
- Manage planners daily to ensure technician productivity and applied time goals are met
- Ensure technicians are fully scheduled and dispatched efficiently
- Manage Work in Progress (WIP), labor gross profit, and parts gross profit
- Enforce quality standards in both shop and field operations
Financial Accountability
- Manage branch revenue and expenses to meet or exceed the business plan
- Review labor, parts revenue, and expenses daily
- Monitor WIP, labor GP, and parts GP daily and make necessary adjustments
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Enforce all safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Ensure the branch is 100% compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Address compliance exceptions immediately
Goals & Expected Outcomes
- Pacific culture fully embedded across all branch staff
- Expectations clearly documented and reviewed monthly
- Fully trained staff with certified technicians
- WIP, labor GP, and parts GP managed to company expectations
- Technician applied time meets or exceeds company goals
- Branch achieves full compliance at all times
- Revenue and expense targets met or exceeded
- Reduction in disputes and faster resolution times
- Successful execution of the Currie Model in parts, service, and rental
Key Actions & Operating Rhythm
- Continuously reinforce alignment between Pacific culture, policies, and daily tasks
- Utilize the Responsibility Document to set expectations and conduct monthly performance reviews, including PIPs when required
- Create and maintain a documented annual training plan in collaboration with the corporate trainer
- Review WIP, labor GP, and parts GP daily and adjust as needed
- Monitor applied time daily and conduct 1-on-1 reviews with planners using the technician board
- Monitor compliance continuously and address issues immediately
- Implement and execute plans to eliminate recurring disputes
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
