Summary/Objective: The Branch Manager position oversees and manages internal operations, coordinating with the management team to ensure the completion of company goals, the adoption of company philosophy and the building of a positive work environment at the local branch level.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of Pneu-Draulics’ mission.
Participates in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate.
Oversee daily tasks making sure customer needs are met by tracking account activities and follow through.
Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to ensure ISO processes are developing on schedule.
Maintains a qualified staff.
Ensures proper training of personnel assigned.
- Develops individuals for future advancement.
Interpret and communicate work procedures and policies to staff.
Train staff to deliver excellent customer service while monitoring performance.
Support better management reporting and information flow according to business processes and organizational planning.
Work with management in planning (both short-term and long-term) and initiatives geared towards operational excellence.
Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communication within the organization, increasing effectiveness and ensuring understanding between all locations.
Independently develop decisions within the defined process, practices, and Pneu-Draulics’ policies.
Work independently and proactively to avoid and resolve customer issues, forward CAR responses to correct departments.
Coordinate with staff regarding PTO days and other time off, ensuring that each position is covered.
Support inside teams in any fashion necessary to complete predetermined goals. This includes answering phones, customer service, filling orders, receiving, shipping, purchasing, AP/AR, and general maintenance, when needed.
Enacts contingency plans as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues to local and network management, and participates in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements.
Oversees daily activities of facility. Coordinates to maximize scheduling and real-time utilization of resources; analyzes and recommends part-time, flexible and full-time employee mix for the site.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Product training schools will be required
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position manages all employees of the location and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within its department.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position and hours of operation are determined by branch location hours, either 8-5 pm or 7:30-4 pm.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although occasional out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, operations management, business management or equivalent and 5-7 years previous operations management experience, including forecasting, scheduling and real-time operations management
- Experience in a production environment.
- Experience supervising, coaching and developing staff.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in distribution, branch operations, or sales management
Experience in the sealing industry or related industrial distribution sectors (gaskets, seals, O-rings, fluid sealing, hydraulics, or industrial components)
Proven experience managing branch operations, including sales performance, inventory control, and customer service
Demonstrated success leading and developing teams in a distribution or industrialenvironment
Experience with profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, budgeting, and financial performance management
- Strong background in customer relationship management, including key account support and business development
Experience coordinating warehouse, inside sales, and outside sales functions to meet service and revenue goals
Knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and ERP systems in a distribution environment
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction
Familiarity with quality systems, operational procedures, and safety requirements in a warehouse setting
Experience working with OEMs, MRO customers, or industrial end users
Knowledge of sealing applications in industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical processing, or power generation
- Exposure to ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
