Branch Manager- HVAC & Refrigeration Distributor

Location: Rapid City, SD

Work Schedule: Store Hours are: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Status: Salary/Bonus, Full Time

Job Summary

As a Dennis Supply branch manager , you will be representing a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler. Your store will be providing prompt, professional, and expert customer service, counter sales, and product knowledge to local and regional businesses requiring HVAC/R parts, equipment, and services.

Essential Fun ctions

Customer Service – Build and maintain meaningful employee and customer relationships.

• Respond to employee and customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain schedules of sales support and customer deliveries
• Maintain an accurate inventory through consistent cycle counting.
• Organize branch customer sales events and promotions
• Maintain the appearance and safety of the store.
• Commitment to continued product education and professional training

Experience & Qualifications

• HVAC, Refrigeration or Construction Trades knowledge and experience are required.
• Relevant professional wholesale or retail management experience
• Must have the ability to listen and communicate with the staff, to offer customers quality sales experience
• Ability to successfully prioritize and conduct the various sales, customer service, order entry, inventory,
• Ability to understand and calculate numbers and figures related to branch/company sales, purchase orders, inventories, etc. (i.e. revenue, profits, discounts, percentages)
• Solid computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or inventory software is a plus .
• Desire to develop and maintain a positive, courteous, professional, and team-oriented environment.

Educational Experience

• High school diploma or GED is required. Additional business certification or coursework from a college or university is desirable.
