JOB SUMMARY
- ProLift Rigging is looking for a BMIT (Branch Manager in Training). This position is transitional and will prepare you to become a Branch Manager, running and stewarding a local business. The BM Position will be in San Marcos, Tx. During the BMIT training the candidate will be expected to work and train at both DFW office, located in Mesquite, TX, and the Austin office in San Marcos. (Specifics on % travel and relocation will be discussed in the interview process).
- This position will require you to provide leadership that is consistent with our established Mission Statement and Core Values. PLR desires a Servant Leadership to reflect our culture. You will ultimately be the Team Leader of your Branch and fostering a “One Team” culture will be critical to yours and the Branch's success.
- Provide actionable analysis of financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) to assist in managing branch operations and determine efficient improvements. The key metric for measuring financial performance is return on capital (ROC). You will be driving the Metrics for your New Team branch. Internalizing the metric drivers and how to achieve them will determine success.
- Assists in all aspects of the branch. Learning all that you CAN will help ensure your Leadership success, Branch success and “One Team” success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all required training and gain technical competence through both the job training and training courses. Must be a self-starter.
- Pursue a Professional Development Plan with mentor and complete milestones according to plan.
- Lead with alignment to PLR's Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Motivate the Branch Team to aim for PLR's success metrics in Financials Returns, Safety, Customer Satisfaction & other Key Markers. We want to be the Best!
- Learn how to lead the Branch as a business owner. Building your Team to be excellent in Sales, Operations/Safety, Project Management, Dispatch, Maintenance, and Facilities!
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Leadership and Team Building skills for a strong aligned Culture (Mission and Core Values focused).
- Mechanically inclined and with a proven track record of success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance, or transportation execution.
- Financial skills in leading your team to build a successful business plan and achieve success metrics.
- Project Management experience in construction and/or industrial industries.
- Sales aptitude and the ability to lead and manage a successful sales team.
- Computer Software and Management Reporting expertise in communicating metrics, processes, and enhancements.
- Individuals will be expected to complete ProLift Specific, Regulatory and Identified Equipment training through our internal LMS system.
- Individuals may be asked/required to complete a 3rd parties or customers require training to gain on-site access.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Administrative Skills:
- An understanding of construction contracts, Windows-based software applications, and good time management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and team-oriented
- Have attention to detail and be self-motivated
- Able to plan, organize and execute daily requirements
- Must pass a drug test and background check
