Branch Manager Sales Freight Forwarding

Role Summary:

The Branch Manager – Sales will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day branch operations while focusing on business development and sales growth. This role is ideal for a result-driven professional with strong experience in freight forwarding sales and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead branch-level sales and business development activities in the freight forwarding sector
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue and expand client base
  • Acquire new customers and manage key accounts across air, sea, and road freight
  • Hire, train, and manage the local sales and support team (as required)
  • Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, operations, customer service) to ensure service quality
  • Monitor branch performance, prepare reports, and ensure achievement of KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, shipping lines, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or branch management role
  • Strong local market knowledge (Ahmedabad/Gujarat region) and client network
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of sales achievements and client retention
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Freight Forwarding: 3 years (Required)
  • Logistics: 3 years (Required)
