Perma-Chink Systems is seeking to add an exceptional new team member to our Sevierville, TN branch—someone who leads by example with strong work ethic, integrity, compassion, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable, with a proven ability to follow through, problem solve and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset are essential.
This role is responsible for driving territory sales growth by actively expanding the local customer base, developing new accounts, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and executing proven sales growth strategies. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to prospecting, pipeline management, and lead generation, while supporting marketing outreach efforts and creating opportunities through workshops and territory events.
In addition to growing revenue, this position will oversee and support the Inside Sales team to ensure operational excellence, consistent customer experience, and effective coordination across sales, order processing, product fulfillment and store inventory management.
Key Responsibilities

Drive local territory sales growth by actively prospecting, developing new business, and expanding the branch’s customer base (retail, contractor, and commercial clients).

Identify, pursue, and convert new accounts through outbound calling, email outreach, in-person visits, networking, and local market initiatives.

Implement sales growth tactics including lead-generation campaigns, customer reactivation efforts, referral programs, follow-up sequences, and territory planning.

Capture and promote local and territory advertising, marketing, and social media outreach opportunities to support demand generation and customer acquisition.

Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in prospects while consistently converting inquiries into sales opportunities and long-term customer relationships.

Present product/service features and benefits, develop estimates, and complete order entry and processing with accuracy and customer-focused attention.

Maintain a high level of product knowledge and remain current on product lines, industry trends, and technical information to support consultative selling.

Continuously evaluate and elevate customer service performance through sales staff training, encouragement, and leading by example.

Motivate and develop staff while promoting teamwork across the local branch and satellite offices, with a focus on accountability and performance.

Maintain an organized, professional branch environment (interior and exterior), ensuring proactive upkeep and strong customer experience standards.

Communicate brand identity appropriately and reinforce corporate positioning in all customer and community-facing interactions.

Oversee inventory operations; remain current on shipping procedures and product preparation standards.

Complete weekly reporting including prospecting activity, sales pipeline updates, commercial/customer interactions, territory development progress, and industry trends.

Submit expense reports to accounting accurately and on time.

Foster positive working relationships and teamwork across all company locations.

Provide HR support including employee evaluations, recognition, performance issues/infractions, PTO requests, and related documentation.

Property Management facilitation of property leased units.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

Strong background in sales growth, customer acquisition, prospecting, and territory development—preferably in a B2B/B2C environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong active listening and relationship-building abilities.

Demonstrated positive leadership qualities and a collaborative management style.

Proven ability to implement structured sales tactics including pipeline management style, follow-up systems, referral development, campaign execution, and goal-based activity planning.

Dependable and available to work regular hours Monday through Friday.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in estimating, order processing, and customer follow-up.

Professional demeanor and appearance with a friendly, outgoing personality.

Advanced computer proficiency, including email and data entry skills; strong command of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.

Experience in public speaking, workshop facilitation, and/or product demonstration experience required.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $65,000-$70,000/yearly, plus eligibility for a potential annual profit-sharing bonus.
