Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Branch Services Associate II to join our Operations team in Novato, California.


In a team-oriented environment, the Branch Services Associate II plays a vital role in maintaining our commitment to compliance and operational excellence. You will serve as the go-to resource for our branch network, offering expert guidance on bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure our branches are equipped with the knowledge and resources to deliver exceptional customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for both internal and external inquiries. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the maintenance of operational and new account manuals, as well as providing crucial support to the Department Manager by managing reports and logs related to branch operations.

Job Skill Level:

  • Strong knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of applicable operating and computer systems.
  • Basic understanding of banking laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform new account ‘opening’ process which includes establishing a new customer relationship on core banking system.
  • Knowledge and ability to collect necessary supporting signatures and required documentation when establishing any new account relationship.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to professionally communicate in writing in a clear and concise manner with internal and external clients.

Professional Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training

Educational/Professional Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The hiring hourly pay range for this position is $28.60 to $38.61. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
