Role Mission: As the Brand Communications & Content Specialist, you are responsible for developing and executing compelling and engaging content across multiple brands to reach new audiences and promote our organization’s story across all channels. The primary focus is to write copy and create content regarding Rhodes’s offerings that is consistent, professional and impactful. This role reports to the Brand Communications & Content Manager and supports the Corporate Services & Experience team to ensure consistency across all Corporate, Marketing, and Communications channels, including social media, web content, email campaigns, print collateral, signage creative, etc.
This includes crafting compelling stories around the company’s products, services, initiatives, events, and other brand initiatives. The Brand Communications & Content Specialist leads all aspects of content development from conception to execution and is responsible for monitoring engagement metrics to ensure successful campaigns.
The Brand Communications & Content Specialist is a creative, detail-oriented, organized individual who can prioritize tasks within tight deadlines with enthusiasm and energy assigned. In addition, the Brand Communications & Content Specialist is a self-starter who can work independently or collaboratively with a team and thrives working in a results-driven atmosphere while maintaining quality standards throughout the entire production process.

Accountabilities:
Content Production and Management:

Execute comprehensive communications strategies through storytelling that helps differentiate us from other real estate companies.

Utilize graphic design skills and tools to create engaging visual content such as graphics, videos, photos and other multimedia elements.

Manage a consistent brand identity across all digital and print touchpoints including website content, emails, collateral, signage creative, and other materials.

Assess the performance of campaigns by analyzing data collected from various sources.
-
Research industry trends and newsworthy topics to develop creative content ideas.
-
Develop ideas to engage target audiences with compelling content; creating storyboards, scripts, and titles for a broad range of digital mediums such as video, audio, print materials and more.

Write scripts and titles / Edit audio/video footage.

Craft copy for ads, emails, landing pages and press releases that resonate with our target customers and employees.
Channel Management:

Executing strategies to ensure effective penetration and growth of Rhodes’ portfolio of brands and their presence on various communication channels.

Managing the creation and distribution of all content across platforms.

Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and using them to optimize the organization’s messaging through each channel.

Working with cross-functional teams to ensure that communication campaigns align with brand objectives.

Monitoring customer feedback, behavior, and engagement levels on various communication channels and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.

Analyzing performance metrics to assess effectiveness of campaigns through each channel.
Copywriting:

Write accurate copy that conveys the brand’s key messages effectively.

Audit and edit existing content to ensure consistency with branding guidelines.

Ensures accuracy of information in all communications materials, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.

Craft copy for ads, emails, landing pages, websites, social media, collateral, and press releases that resonates with our target customers and employees.
Public Relations:

Maintain a positive relationship with external stakeholders including media contacts, partners and the public.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as Marketing and Corporate Services & Experience team members) on projects related to marketing communications and corporate communications initiatives.

Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred; Experience in a similar role considered.
