We are a start up that now going to market quickly.

We are seeking a Brand Designer to help create distinctive, story-driven brand identities that power recurring participation experiences across multiple client organizations.

This role works closely with our Copywriter to develop brand names, visual identities, and narrative elements that transform ordinary weekday visits into meaningful rituals people look forward to attending.

Unlike traditional brand design, this position focuses on repeatable behavioral brand systems — brands that live weekly, evolve over time, and become part of a customer’s lifestyle rhythm.

The Brand Designer ensures every activation feels intentional, cohesive, and easy for internal teams to execute consistently across locations.

You will design logos, visual systems, and promotional templates, while also building structured Figma-based toolkits that allow our engagement team to deploy and support each brand efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Brand Identity Development

  • Collaborate with Copywriter to develop:
  • Brand names
  • Brand personality
  • Story elements and thematic direction
  • Visual tone aligned with target demographic
  • Design:
  • Logos
  • Color palettes
  • Typography systems
  • Iconography
  • Visual motifs
  • Translate behavioral concepts into visual identity systems that support recurring participation

Brand System Design

  • Build cohesive brand ecosystems that can scale across multiple locations
  • Ensure identity consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Design visual structures that reinforce familiarity and repeat participation
  • Create modular brand assets that evolve without losing recognizability

Template & Toolkit Creation (Figma)

  • Create structured Figma templates for:
  • Weekly engagement materials
  • Promotional graphics
  • Social media assets
  • In-venue visuals
  • Presentation materials
  • Design templates that allow non-designers to easily produce on-brand materials
  • Ensure templates balance flexibility with consistency
  • Organize assets for efficient team usage

Style Guide Ownership

  • Create and maintain brand style guides
  • Define:
  • Logo usage rules
  • Typography hierarchy
  • Color systems
  • Image direction
  • Voice alignment signals (in coordination with Copywriter)
  • Ensure all brand materials follow established standards
  • Update style guides as brands evolve

Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with:
  • Copywriter
  • Engagement team
  • Marketing team
  • Operations team
  • Ensure brand systems are practical for real-world execution
  • Support internal teams with visual direction as needed

What Success Looks Like

  • Each brand feels distinct, intentional, and aligned with its audience
  • Visual systems are easy for the team to use consistently
  • Templates reduce the need for custom design work each week
  • Brand elements reinforce habit formation and recognition
  • Internal teams feel confident executing within the brand system
  • Customers begin to associate visual identity with a recurring experience they anticipate

Ideal Background

  • Experience designing brand identities (logo + system, not just individual graphics)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating cohesive brand systems
  • Experience creating templates in Figma
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout systems
  • Ability to translate abstract ideas into visual direction
  • Experience designing for hospitality, entertainment, events, lifestyle brands, or consumer experiences is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with copywriters or marketing teams is preferred

Helpful Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Experience designing brands intended for recurring events or ongoing campaigns
  • Experience creating scalable template systems
  • Familiarity with behavioral design concepts
  • Experience building brand style guides
  • Experience supporting multi-location brands
  • Ability to design within multiple aesthetic styles

Role Type

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
