Job Title: Head of Brand- Hakeem Easy Finance (Sr. Manager Brand)

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Brand to lead the development, positioning, and growth of Hakeem – Easy Finance, a fintech-driven, Shariah Compliant, non-banking financial service specializing in nano financing solutions. This role will be central to building Hakeem’s brand identity, ensuring consistent and impactful communication, and driving marketing initiatives that strengthen trust and visibility among underserved and underbanked communities.

The ideal candidate will own Hakeem’s brand and communication strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage integrated marketing campaigns, and establish governance frameworks to ensure consistency across all channels. This position requires a deep understanding of marketing as a brand function, financial services communication, and fintech branding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Positioning & Identity: Build and evolve Hakeem’s brand identity, ensuring it reflects trust, safety, and financial empowerment.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies to promote Hakeem’s services (Nano Financing, BNPL, Earned Wage Access, Invoice Factoring).
  • Campaign Leadership: Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, offline, PR, community engagement) to drive customer acquisition and brand loyalty.
  • Communication & PR: Manage all external communication, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives to position Hakeem as a leading fintech brand.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Product, Sales, Customer Experience) to design and execute brand-aligned marketing strategies.
  • Governance & Standardisation: Establish communication guidelines, governance frameworks, and brand standards across all touchpoints.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign impact, track KPIs, analyze marketing effectiveness, and report insights to leadership.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage marketing and communication budgets effectively, ensuring ROI and resource optimization.
  • Crisis Communication: Lead internal and external communication during sensitive issues or crises to safeguard brand reputation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in brand management, marketing, or communications, ideally within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of brand strategy, integrated marketing, and financial sector communication.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and strategic thinking with execution capability.
  • Established media and digital ecosystem networks are a plus.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse customer groups in underserved markets.
