Events & Community Manager – Retail (Luxury Leather Brand)

Role Overview

The Events & Community Manager will drive off-site brand experiences that directly support retail performance, customer acquisition, and repeat business. This mid-level role sits at the intersection of events, clienteling, and community engagement, ensuring that every activation translates into increased footfall, stronger customer relationships, and measurable sales impact.

The role requires hands-on execution, close collaboration with retail teams, and a strong understanding of Dubai’s luxury consumer landscape.

Key ResponsibilitiesRetail-Driven Events & Activations

  • Plan and execute in-store events, VIP shopping evenings, product launches, trunk shows, seasonal campaigns, and pop-up activations
  • Manage event calendars aligned with retail trading cycles and mall marketing initiatives
  • Oversee end-to-end execution including vendors, staffing, guest management, logistics, and post-event follow-ups

Clienteling & Community Growth

  • Work closely with retail teams to identify, invite, and engage VIP and high-potential customers
  • Build and maintain a structured community of repeat customers, brand advocates, and private clients
  • Support CRM initiatives by capturing event data, customer preferences, and engagement insights
  • Coordinate personalized experiences for top-tier clients before, during, and after events

Influencer, PR & Local Partnerships

  • Support influencer engagement for retail activations, store openings, and campaigns
  • Coordinate micro-influencer and tastemaker events that drive authentic local reach and store visits
  • Manage collaborations with malls, luxury hotels, cafés, gyms, and lifestyle partners to expand brand visibility
  • Work with PR and marketing teams to ensure event coverage and content creation

In-Store Experience & Brand Standards

  • Ensure all events align with the brand’s luxury positioning, craftsmanship, and visual identity
  • Collaborate with VM and retail operations teams to maintain premium in-store presentation during events
  • Train store teams on event flow, guest engagement, and luxury service expectations

Budgeting, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Manage allocated event budgets and control costs efficiently
  • Track KPIs including footfall, sales during events, conversion rates, and customer retention
  • Prepare concise post-event reports with insights, sales impact, and recommendations
  • Continuously optimize event formats based on performance data

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Fashion, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in events, retail marketing, or community management within luxury, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands
  • Proven experience working closely with retail and store operations teams
  • Strong understanding of clienteling, CRM, and VIP customer engagement
  • Well-connected within Dubai’s retail, mall, influencer, and lifestyle ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and retail peak periods
