*Job Summary*
At a strategy level, the role should focus on owning and safeguarding the brand’s digital identity, ensuring that all social media activity aligns with the brand’s positioning, tone of voice, and long-term narrative. The Social Media Manager should translate business and brand objectives into a clear social media direction, define platform-wise brand presence, and ensure consistency across campaigns, seasons, and store-level activations. The role should also evaluate overall brand health on social platforms by analyzing audience behavior, content resonance, sentiment, and share of voice, and use these insights to guide future planning, campaign direction, and platform strategy—ensuring social media contributes to sustained brand equity, not just tactical engagement.
1. Brand Strategy & Content Direction
Define the overall brand-led content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand’s positioning, tone, and long-term narrative. Establish clear content pillars and campaign themes that support brand goals, and guide creative, design, and video teams with strategic direction to ensure all content is consistent, purposeful, and strengthens brand identity across platforms.
2. Social Media Management
Handle day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement.
Stay updated on trends, formats, and platform algorithm changes.
3. Performance & Analytics
Track performance of all posts, reels, and campaigns.
Generate weekly and monthly reports on reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve content performance.
4. Influencer & Collaboration Management
Identify influencers suitable for brand campaigns.
Coordinate deliverables, script guidance, shoot plans, and approval processes.
Ensure influencer content goes live as per timelines and brand guidelines.
5. Campaign Execution
Monitor paid promotions in coordination with the performance team.
Ensure creative alignment across platforms and campaigns.
6. Store-Level Activation Support (if relevant for your brand)
Coordinate with store managers for in-store reels, product shoots, and ground-level activities.
Manage UGC-style staff reels and quick content formats.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive/Manager.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and trending formats.
Ability to plan creative content and write captions/scripts.
Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, etc.).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
Preferred: Experience in fashion/retail/e-commerce.
