About Ava-Ker

Ava-Ker is a wellness-focused candle and home fragrance brand inspired by self-care, mental wellness, and Haitian heritage. We create hand-poured candles, perfumes, diffusers, and wellness experiences designed to help people reconnect with themselves through intentional rituals and scent.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and entrepreneurial intern to help grow Ava-Ker’s online presence and community. This role combines social media, content creation, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Photograph candles, perfumes, and other products

• Assist with lifestyle and branding shoots

• Create social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook

• Edit short-form videos and reels

• Help maintain a consistent visual brand identity

Influencer & Partnership Management

• Research and identify creators aligned with Ava-Ker

• Build influencer outreach lists

• Contact and coordinate with influencers

• Manage gifting campaigns and track deliverables

• Maintain influencer relationships and communication

Marketing & Community Growth

• Schedule social media content

• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages

• Research trends, hashtags, and campaign opportunities

• Assist with seasonal launches and promotions

• Support local events, workshops, and pop-up markets when needed

Qualifications

• Student in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, Photography, or related field

• Passion for social media, branding, and wellness

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable taking product photos and creating content

• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools

• Self-starter who enjoys working in a growing small business environment
