Position Summary:

The Brand Marketing Specialist drives brand awareness and engagement through innovative campaigns, impactful content development and creative thinking. This role will function as a collaborative member of the ARRT Strategic Communications department to assist with development and execution of digital campaigns and marketing programs for external channels. The individual in this role will have prior experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms (social, web, mobile, print).

Duties and Responsibilities

Branding

  • Ensure brand consistency across digital assets.
  • Assist with designing, editing, and proofing all marketing materials such as flyers and posters.
  • Assist with project and task documentation using team systems and tools.
  • Provide graphic design support as needed.

Social Media

  • Plan digital strategies to build pride and key stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop digital content and copy, gain approval from subject matter experts and managers, and use platforms such as Hootsuite to post.
  • Monitor platforms for comments and messages.
  • Analyze results, create reports, identify themes, trends, and new opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage interactions with the stakeholders by implementing social media platforms’ best practices and content strategies.

Printing and Editing

  • Maintain and use ARRT’s style guide and brand design standards.
  • Create and edit marketing materials and resources for students, R.T.s, program directors, educators, and the public.
  • Coordinate the ordering of branded materials.
  • Maintain effective vendor relationships.

Advertising

  • Maintain schedules, ad placement, and potentially ad design.
  • Advise on new opportunities and industry trends.

Events and Sponsorship

  • Support ARRT’s successful participation in conferences, events, and sponsorships.
  • Support and prepare staff to attend conferences on behalf of ARRT (key messages, travel details, etc.)
  • Manage and coordinate ARRT promotional materials.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding and usage of Associated Press (AP) style.
  • Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Proficient time management skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand ARRT business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborative relationship management skills.
  • Adept with technology and digital communication skills, including Office 365 (PowerPoint, Teams), digital content creation, photography, video, and editorial or marketing planning tools. Hootsuite or similar social media platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications, marketing, advertising, brand marketing, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in integrated marketing communications, social media, advertising, meetings and events planning, or related field.
  • Experience in social media planning, content development, posting and platform management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in conference or event planning, support, and execution.
  • Experience in digital and/or print advertising strategy, placement, and tracking.
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Digital newsletters
  • SEO optimization
  • Video production

Physical Demands

Close Visual Acuity: Preparing and analyzing data; viewing a computer screen; and extensive reading.

Fingering: Typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers.

Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Sedentary Work: Sitting most of the time; occasional walking and standing.

Talking: Ability to communicate with colleagues accurately and quickly.

Travel: Ability to travel and navigate via multiple methods of transportation.

Pay range is $67,905 -$79,000 annually
