Overview
We're a Mediterranean–inspired / specialty / artisan bakery building something rare in South Florida — a place where the food, the room, and the brand all feel like one thing. Our first location built a loyal following on Instagram almost entirely through word of mouth and a clear visual point of view.

We're now opening our second location, and we're hiring a Brand & Social Media Manager to take Florentin from locally beloved to regionally known.

This is not a content-posting job. We need a brand owner.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Brand & visual identity. You'll be the guardian of how Florentin looks and sounds — across Instagram, TikTok, our website, in-store signage, packaging, and any partnership we touch. You'll work directly with the founders to evolve the brand as we grow.

Content strategy & creation. You'll plan and produce our weekly content — capturing it in person at both locations, editing Reels and TikToks, designing carousels, and writing captions in our voice. You're hands-on; you don't outsource the eye.

Storytelling & PR. You'll position Florentin within the food and lifestyle conversation in South Florida and beyond — pitching writers, editors, podcasters, and creators. You'll secure features, collabs, and the kind of press money can't buy.

Partnerships. You'll identify and close brand partnerships that make sense for us — other food brands, hospitality, design, lifestyle. Quality over quantity. We'd rather do four great collabs than forty forgettable ones.

Growth & analytics. You'll watch the numbers and use them to make better decisions, not just to report. You know which metrics matter (saves, shares, profile visits, in-store mentions) and which are vanity.

What success looks like

  • By 30 days: You've audited our brand and content, built a 90-day content calendar tied to the second-location launch, and you're shipping 4–5 high-quality posts per week.
  • By 90 days: Our follower growth and engagement are visibly up, we have at least one media feature secured, and you've launched the second location's social presence in a way that feels like a moment — not a soft open.
  • By 6 months: Florentin is part of the South Florida food conversation — mentioned alongside the city's most-loved spots — and we have a partnership pipeline you've built from scratch.

Who we're looking for

  • 4+ years owning a consumer brand's social presence (food, hospitality, or lifestyle strongly preferred)
  • A portfolio that proves it — actual accounts you've grown, not just contributed to
  • Hands-on with content: you can shoot, edit (CapCut, Premiere, or similar), and write
  • A sharp aesthetic eye. We'll know in 30 seconds whether you have it.
  • Strategic instincts — you can tell us what to do next without being asked
  • Comfortable being on camera occasionally (you won't be the face of the brand, but you'll appear)
  • Based in South Florida and able to be in person at both locations regularly
