A leading regional retail group is seeking a
Brand Strategy & Engagement Director
to drive the evolution of its brand narrative and communication strategy across multiple markets. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping how the brand is experienced internally and externally — aligning purpose, culture, and reputation under one cohesive vision.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute an integrated brand and communications strategy that connects the company’s culture, business goals, and market presence.

Lead internal engagement and culture programs, fostering connection, purpose, and pride among employees.

Oversee corporate communications, media relations, and content strategy to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all channels.

Drive creative storytelling and campaign execution to strengthen the company’s reputation and visibility as an employer and brand of choice.

Partner closely with senior leadership to enhance brand alignment and stakeholder engagement across geographies.

Manage crisis communications and reputation management, ensuring proactive, thoughtful, and consistent messaging.
Qualifications & Experience:

12+ years in communications, brand strategy, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience in integrated brand management, internal communications, and reputation strategy.

Strong creative and strategic thinking with a deep understanding of brand storytelling.

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact, multi-channel campaigns.

Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
