Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Westwood Industrial Estate for a Branded Clothing Embroidery Machine Operator. The responsibilities include operating embroidery machines to customise workwear and branded clothing, maintaining machinery, ensuring high-quality output, and working collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines. Key activities involve setting up and calibrating embroidery machines, selecting appropriate designs, inspecting finished products, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Operate three Tajima 4-head embroidery machines and one single head efficiently and with precision.
  • Attention to detail and quality is a must.
  • Load designs, threads, and materials into the machines.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on embroidered products to ensure the highest standard.
  • Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the embroidery machines.
  • Fold, check and pack orders ready for dispatch.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised workspace.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as an embroidery machine operator, preferably on Tajima machines, is preferred, but training can be arranged for the right person.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating multi-head embroidery machines.
  • Knowledge of different embroidery techniques, threads, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication skills and a cooperative team player.


Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed.

This is a full-time position. 8.00 start to 4.00 finish.

Overtime and weekends are a possibility.
