Village Signs & Graphics is looking for a Branding Junior Graphic Designer & Production Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with our head designer to help keep projects moving by taking on day‑to‑day design work, allowing them to focus on larger, high‑priority creative tasks. This role is perfect for someone who is naturally creative, enjoys visual problem‑solving, and wants to grow their skills in a hands‑on sign shop environment.

You don’t need years of experience — we provide full, paid training in our workflow, production file setup, and large‑format printing processes. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long‑term career with us.

Role Overview

You will assist with design projects, create visual examples for clients, prepare production‑ready artwork, and help maintain our website content. You’ll also learn how to set up files for large‑format printing and vinyl production. This position requires someone who is good with numbers and measurements, comfortable learning new skills, and enjoys taking on creative challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the head designer with mockups, layouts, and client-facing design examples
• Create and prepare production‑ready artwork for print, vinyl, and fabrication
• Learn how to prepare files for large‑format printing and vinyl cutting
• Update and maintain website content (WordPress/Elementor)
• Work with measurements and scaling to ensure accurate production files
• Support general shop workflow and light office duties such as filling out forms.
• Keep job folders organized and help maintain smooth project flow

Required Skills & Qualities

• Strong creative mindset and interest in design
• Strong graphic design background
• Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator
• Good with numbers, measurements, and scaling
• Enjoys learning new skills and taking on challenges
• Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented
• Positive attitude and interest in long‑term growth

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in a sign shop, print shop, or fabrication environment
• Familiarity with WordPress/Elementor
• Understanding of print or vinyl production workflows
