Inside Sales Representative – Diagnostics

This organization provides customized specimen collection kits, designing, procuring, assembling, and fulfilling more than 5 million kits annually. The FDA-registered, temperature-controlled facility ensures all storage and packaging meet strict quality control standards.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support a growing diagnostics business. This individual will build strong relationships with healthcare providers, laboratories, and clinical partners while driving adoption of diagnostic products and services. The role is critical in educating customers, supporting the sales pipeline, and contributing to overall revenue growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Engage prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to promote diagnostic products and solutions.
- Qualify inbound leads and generate new opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling and targeted follow-ups.
- Provide product information, pricing, and technical support in collaboration with clinical and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the diagnostic portfolio, including test indications, workflow, and clinical value.
- Manage and update CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Support field sales representatives by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating follow-ups.
- Partner with marketing to execute campaigns and nurture leads.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and related sales documentation.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a trusted resource for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of inside sales or customer-facing experience, ideally within diagnostics, medical devices, biotech, or healthcare.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and convey technical or clinical information effectively.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
