Childcare Float / Breaker Position – Join Our Team!

Are you flexible, energetic, and passionate about working with children of all ages? We’re looking for a Childcare Float (Breaker) to support our classrooms and ensure our team and children have a smooth, positive day

Position Overview:This role is essential to our daily operations. As a Float/Breaker, you’ll rotate between classrooms to cover teacher breaks and provide extra hands where needed. You’ll work with a variety of age groups—from infants to preschoolers—so adaptability and confidence are key.

Responsibilities:

• Cover teacher breaks across multiple classrooms throughout the day
• Assist lead teachers with daily routines and classroom management
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and learning
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Support transitions such as meals, naps, outdoor play, and diapering/toileting
• Step in where needed to ensure all classrooms run smoothly

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children of multiple age groups (infant–preschool preferred)
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Passion for early childhood education

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
