Breakfast Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for food preparation and presentation. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present breakfast items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, countertops, and equipment.
• Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and catering needs as required.
• Handle any necessary meat cutting or culinary tasks as needed.
• Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems for managing orders when applicable.
• Ensure all dietary requirements are met by understanding guest preferences and restrictions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is a plus.
• Experience using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation.
