BREAKFAST ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Breakfast Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Supervisor: Facilities Manager

Job Summary: To maintain a clean and appealing breakfast area according to policy standards. To ensure guest needs are met during breakfast.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Basic cleaning: Sweep and mop floor, empty trash and clean equipment.
2. Knows local and state health codes pertaining to food handling and sanitation
3. Able to work with management to set up efficient and colorful breakfast area, and create various themes and special events
4. Able to correctly explain and complete various breakfast forms
5. Able to forecast food and beverage needs
6. Able to minimize waste in the preparation of food.
7. Able to inventory and order breakfast items and supplies
8. Able to read minimum and maximum par labels and determine amount.
9. Able to assist with receiving and storage according to procedures
10. Able to inform management of any shortages, substandard products, broken equipment, problems, etc.
11. Able to organize refrigeration units and storage areas
12. Willing to assist when/wherever necessary as dictated by management.
13. Adheres to all training requirements as dictated by management and the hotel franchise.
