Responsibilities

The breakfast attendant will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast 5 days a week starting at 6am. The main focus of this position is the breakfast, this person must be reliable and good at communicating. During the breakfast shift you will perform housekeeping duties as well as the breakfast does not need constant monitoring.

• Prepare and serve breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
• Set up breakfast buffet stations, replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout service
• Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about menu options, and assist with special dietary requests
• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and kitchen spaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Manage laundry duties for linens and towels, ensuring timely turnover of guest accommodations
• Follow food safety protocols during food handling and preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Shop for breakfast supplies at Fruita City Market

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds
• A background in restaurant operations or food handling within the hospitality sector will support success in this role
