In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, including coffee beverages, and assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and cleanup. Job Summary
The Breakfast Barista/Server/Kitchen Assistant is responsible for set up, restocking, breakdown, and clean-up of the breakfast service area. This position also assists the Chef with simple food preparation as needed. This is a service-oriented position and requires good interpersonal communication skills and friendly professionalism while attending to guest requests.
Duties/Responsibilities

Set up of breakfast area

Restocking and maintaining cleanliness of breakfast area

Serving breakfast to guests

Breakdown and clean-up of breakfast area

Washing dishes, pots and pans
-
Ability to make all coffee/tea products as well as simple beverages

Ability to set up and breakdown espresso and beverage equipment

Handle transactions on POS system for breakfast service

Follow departmental policies and procedures.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Sanitize all cleaning tools including mops, brooms, etc, at end of shift

Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members

Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Food service experience preferred
