The Inn at Turkey Hill is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Breakfast Cook to join our team.

We are a small upscale inn serving breakfast exclusively to overnight lodging guests (not open to the public). Unlike a traditional restaurant, our breakfast service is lower volume and guest-focused, creating a calmer and more personal work environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, takes pride in preparing quality food, and enjoys working in a welcoming hospitality setting.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily breakfast service for inn guests
• Set up, maintain, and break down buffet breakfast service
• Prepare items for buffet along with a very small table menu
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards are met
• Assist with food prep and stocking for upcoming shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and breakfast areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work closely with breakfast attendants and inn staff to provide a positive guest experience

Schedule & Hours

Monday – Friday

• Breakfast served: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• Typical shift: 5:30 AM – 10:30/11:00 AM

Saturday & Sunday

• Breakfast served: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Typical shift: 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM/12:00 PM

Weekend and holiday availability is required.
We serve guests 365 days a year.

Qualifications

• Cooking or kitchen experience is helpful but not required
• Willing to train the right candidate
• Must enjoy early morning shifts
• Friendly and welcoming with guests
• Able to work well with others in a team environment
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Attention to cleanliness and detail
