Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast, providing friendly and attentive service from the moment they walk in
• Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to maximize flow and comfort
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishing food items, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the breakfast area
• Answer guest questions about menu options, amenities, and hotel services with clarity and enthusiasm
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of hospitality
• Uphold health and safety standards by monitoring cleanliness, food safety practices, and overall presentation of the breakfast area

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or host in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest interactions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices to ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
