Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
• Serve breakfast items efficiently while upselling menu specials and enhancing guest satisfaction through friendly interaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations when applicable.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations.
• Assist with food preparation or food handling tasks as needed to support overall restaurant service during busy mornings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or serving roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities; attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends; previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles is advantageous.
