Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Breakfast Server / Barista to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving breakfast items and beverages in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, food service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently using Toast POS systems.
• Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, including coffee, pastries, and other café offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for sales.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure all food items are presented attractively.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing any guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
