Brew Bird is a cafe and creative space in Granite Bay seeking to build a team of passionate coffee professionals dedicated to delivering a warm and positive craft coffee experience.

Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Shift Lead to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and passionate about coffee, food, and hospitality. Starting pay for this position is $17.50 per hour, with the opportunity for an increase up to $19.00 per hour based on experience and performance following the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day café operations​​
• Train, and supervise staff
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health standards
• Handle POS systems, and basic financial reporting
• Create a positive, welcoming environment for customers and staff
• Assist with menu updates, promotions, and events

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a café, restaurant, or hospitality manager
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
• Comfortable with scheduling, inventory, and basic budgeting
• Passion for coffee, food, and customer service
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
