Bridge Engineer| Kinshasa, DR Congo, Africa

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate bridge construction activities including piling, foundations, substructure, superstructure, girders, decks, and structural works
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Monitor project progress and support planning and scheduling of bridge construction activities
• Review drawings, BBS, BOQs, and verify quantities and progress measurements
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, material testing, and inspection requirements
• Implement safety procedures, method statements, and risk control measures
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and technical reports

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in bridge or major infrastructure construction projects
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, RCC works, piling, and structural systems
• Ability to review drawings, BBS, BOQs, and construction documentation
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD
• Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex structural works and site activities

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
