Special Education regulationsAbility to utilize various computer software programs - student database (X2), MS Office, Google Apps, etc.Ability to collaborate with colleagues and ability to function as part of a team.Experienced writing IEP goals and objectivesExperienced as an IEP team memberCPI training and certification preferredBilingual preferredResponsibilities: Lead a team of teachers and teacher assistants in a specialized classroom (the Bridges Classroom Bryt Clinical Model) providing short-term and long-term supports for students returning from extended absences and for students with social-emotional disabilitiesCollaborate with administrators, faculty members, families, and community providers to coordinate clinical, academic, and family interventionsProvide individual and/or group counseling to students on a daily basis Intervene during crisis situations and make appropriate referralsAdminister standardized cognitive and achievement assessments Collect and analyze data, and develop data collection and analysis protocols, to measure student progress and program performanceParticipate in Special Education team meetings, 504 team meetings, pre-referral meetings, guidance meetings and other meetings related to student case-management and program development, as neededAttend department meetings, faculty meetings, and community meetings
