Broiler/Poultry Farm Manager

Qualifications & experience

• Graduate of any (4) year course related to Veterinary/ Animal Science/ Husbandry with at least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in broiler (poultry) farm operation and/or handling manpower related functions.
• Knowledgeable in poultry/broiler farm operations and standard procedure

Tasks & responsibilities

• Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior, notifying veterinarians or superior as warranted.
• Monitor animal care, maintenance or packing and transfer activities to ensure work is done correctly and treat animal illnesses or injuries, following experience or instruction of veterinarians.
• Assign task such as feeding and treatment of animals, cleaning and maintenance of animal quarter.
• Train workers in animal care procedures, maintenance duties, and safety precautions. Direct and assist workers in maintenance and repair of facilities
• Prepare reports and handling manpower.
• Confer with supervisor/ leadman to determine production requirements, condition of equipment and supplies, and work schedules.
• Audit and check inventory and farm operation
• Computer literate, knowledgeable in Microsoft word, power point and excel; Must have knowledge in data entry and typing skills.
• This position is stay in (accommodation, food and electricity provided)
